Xi'an Paper Machinery Factory Developed a New Process for APMP Pulping

Recently, Xi'an Paper Machinery Factory collaborated with Dalian Institute of Light Industry to develop a new domestic APMP pulping process.

Xi'an Paper Machinery Factory established a demonstration line of APMP pulping production line using cotton stalks as raw materials in Shaanxi Weihe Paper Mill. APMP pulping is alkaline hydrogen peroxide mechanical pulping. It is a high-yield, high-concentration, high-cleanliness pulping technology. It has a water consumption of 20 tons or less per ton of pulp, and it is treated with anaerobic oxygen, with low pollution and low loss. Low water consumption, low energy consumption, can protect the environment and make rational use of resources. APMP chemimechanical pulp can be used to produce newsprint paper. Adding about 40% of this pulp in the production of offset book paper and coated paper pulp can reduce papermaking costs.
