Library lighting standard
The standard value of library building lighting is based on the survey results of 46 libraries in the six regions of China, and with reference to the original national standards [Architectural Lighting Design Standards GB 50034-2013], CIE standards and some national lighting standards. Developed after analysis and research.
Most of the 46 reading rooms surveyed were provincial and municipal libraries and some university libraries. The illumination of more than half of the reading rooms was between 200 and 300 lx, the average illumination was 339 lx, and the original standard high-end illumination was 300 lx. For 500 lx, both the US and Russia are 300 lx.
According to the visual satisfaction experiment, the satisfaction of the fluorescent lamp at 300 lx is basically satisfactory. According to the on-site evaluation, 150-250 lx basically meets the visual requirements. According to the current situation in China, the general reading room of this standard is set to 300 lx. The reading room, the old reading room, the rare book and the reading room of the national, provincial and municipal libraries are set to 500 lx.
2. Lighting route
1. The library's lighting route can be divided into natural lighting and artificial lighting.

Natural daylighting has top lighting (natural light is evenly and evenly distributed in the order from top to bottom through the glass structure at the top of the building) and side lighting (natural light is projected into the reading room environment using the glass window of the building wall) Two ways.

3. Lighting arrangement
