Double-sided machine - uneven corrugated The corrugation of single-sided paperboard is uneven, and a non-standard paste shape is formed on the inside of the double-sided paper. This is because there is no proper control of the core paper from the corrugating roller clamp to the pressure roller clamp (or on a new machine, the core paper is fixed to the tissue at the pinch point). The use of guide jaws on the old machine controls the core paper. The pressure difference is applied to the new machine. In the absence of these, the corrugated board will be messy. The following illustration shows the uneven glue line shape on the back of a layered corrugated cardboard. Low corrugated or irregularly shaped corrugated sheets cannot transfer the paste to the paper or cause the paper to run out of glue.
The uneven corrugation reduces the bonding quality of the paperboard and affects the bonding strength and the side pressure strength. Operators often take measures such as increasing the amount of glue and the pressure of the platen roller to solve the problem of uneven corrugation, and this will reduce the problem. The thickness of the board, and may cause the board to warp or make the board very wet.
