Correctly identifying your face will help you better pick the right shape, such as hairstyle and makeup. Step 1: Find the widest part of your face
• If the parts are average
If the forehead, cheekbones, and cheeks are all about the same width, then your face should be square, round, or elliptical. You can click on the next page to jump to the second step.
• If the widest part is the forehead
If the forehead is the widest and the cheeks are gradually narrower, then your face is the heart shape, which is what everyone calls the inverted triangle.
• If the widest part is the tibia
Then this type of face is attributed to the diamond face.
• If the chin is the widest
| Then the face is a triangle, also called a pear shape.
Step 2: Identify the shape of the chin
• If it is a round chin
The chin on the round face and elliptical face is rounded.
• If it is a square chin.
If the chin line is hard, then your face is square. Although the cheeks are gradually sharper, the lines are slower or more flat, and they are square faces. However, the diamond type and the inverted triangle face may also have a more chin.
• If it is a pointed chin
If the face is sharply pointed from the cheek to the chin, it can be directly attributed to the heart.
The third step: the aspect ratio of the face
• If the aspect ratio is average
Many face types are slightly longer than the width. If you draw a horizontal line below the eye (ie parallel to the horizontal line of the ears), then draw another vertical line in the middle of the face (from the top of the forehead through the nose to the chin). You will find these two criss-crossed lines with an aspect ratio of 1 (width): 1.5 (length). This ratio reflects the characteristics of most face types.
• If the face length is short
If the cross has an aspect ratio of 1:1, then the face should be round.
• If the face length is longer
If the lower half of the cross is longer, then your face is oval. It should be noted that all face types (except for round faces, because their test results are different from other face types), may be considered elliptical according to different people's measurement methods. For example, an elliptical face is considered a square face.
