TSC barcode printer print offset, how to solve it?

First, a regular shift

Regular offset, that is, each sheet of paper is offset upward (or downward) during printing, we should operate as follows:

1. It is very important to first determine the length and width of the paper, and then check that the template settings are correct.

2, re-measuring paper, measuring paper is divided into a single-button printer and multi-button printer, the method is as follows:

a, single button: After turning off the machine, press and hold the paper feed button to turn it on, the red light flashes twice to release the button, the machine will automatically produce 1 to 2 sheets of paper.

b. Multi-button: After turning off the machine, press and hold the pause button to turn it on, and release the button after the machine exits the paper.

When the standby stops feeding, press the FEED button to check if the machine is out of a piece of paper, or if each piece of paper is in the same position. If the paper is successful as shown above, proceed to the next step. Conversely, if the paper is continuously tested, if it is not successful many times, on the one hand, the operation is wrong, on the other hand, the sensor is faulty or the sensor position is not adjusted. (Printing double-column paper and four-row paper needs to pay attention to whether the position is adjusted. The 244 series has the sensor position selected after the left handle latch, there are two gear positions, R and M, respectively. Double-column and four-column papers select the R-range; other models can manually adjust the sensor position.)

3. After the paper is finished, print multiple test pages to see if there is any offset. If there is a regular offset (print an offset of 1 mm), set the gap height to the software.

Second, irregular shift

Irregular offset, random up and down offset during printing. In this case, we can handle it as follows:

1. Follow the above-mentioned regular offset solution.

2. If it is impossible to solve the phenomenon of offset, check if there is any foreign matter above the gap sensor. If not, there may be a fault in the sensor or the motherboard, or the paper is not recognized. It is recommended to replace the consumables to try, if not The repair was processed.

If the above steps can not be resolved, you can try to restore the factory settings. The factory reset settings are also divided into single and multiple keys, as follows:

Single button: After turning off the machine, press and hold the paper exit button to turn it on, the green light flashes 2 times and then release the button.

Multi-key: After turning off the machine, press the eject button and the pause button to turn it on, and the three lights flash and release the button.
