A Heidelberg 102ZP two-color printing press often fails to pull the paper in place when printing books and periodicals. Although the paper pulling effect will be better after increasing the pressure of the pull gauge spring, there are still errors. This problem is not applicable to all papers. If it is positive paper or quadruple paper, the drawing conditions will be better. The larger the paper size, the more obvious the drawing accuracy is. When printing two-color prints, there will be front and back errors. Although this will not affect the quality of the product too much, when printing four-color pages, a large number of waste products will be caused due to the pull error.

When printing four-color pages at a time, considering the situation of the printed matter, the outermost edge of the printed matter was used for the drawing gauge. At the same time, the drawing error of the drawing gauge was also more serious, and it had to be stopped for inspection.

Fault check

First, increase the pressure of the spring, remove the upper part of the pull gauge, wash the bearing with gasoline and kerosene, and add a little oil to make the bearing rotate flexibly, but the test results after installation have not been significantly improved. Check the paper pulling time of the pull gauge, no problem, adjust the eccentric shaft of the pull gauge bearing, from minimum to maximum test machine, the result is not ideal. Finally, it is found that the gap between the pressure plates on both sides of the pull gauge bearing and the magnetic plates in the grooves on both sides of the pull plate under the bearing is too small, and the gap gradually decreases from the middle to the transmission surface (in this case, the transmission surface pull gauge is used ). Because the gap is too small, when the gauge bearing presses on the paper and starts to pull the paper, the pressure plates on both sides of the bearing also press the paper at the same time to produce resistance, preventing the gauge from pulling the paper and making the paper go out of place. Since the gap between the pressure plate and the magnetic plate gradually decreases from the middle to the transmission surface, this resistance gradually increases from small to small, and the reflection on the paper is gradually inaccurate from small paper to large paper.

Failure analysis

The upper part of the pull gauge is composed of a bearing and a pressure plate with bearing on both sides of the bearing, the lower half is a patterned pull plate under the bearing, fixed on a bottom plate that slides back and forth through the chute, and is connected to a The transmission connecting rods are connected, and the transmission rod provides power for moving back and forth. Due to the long use time, the bottom plate and the chute are rubbed against each other and the wear becomes thinner. The pull plate fixed on the bottom plate also drops. The gauge bearing and the pressure plate are pressed downward, while the magnetic plate in the edge groove of the gauge is worn. Very small, so that the gap between the pressure plate and the magnetic plate becomes smaller. Although at the same time, at the same time, one end of the transmission surface is connected to the transmission connecting rod and is affected by the transmission force, so the force part of the transmission surface wears more seriously than the middle without the force end, that is, the pull gauge plate descends from the middle to the transmission surface The gap between the pressure plate and the magnetic plate is gradually reduced from large to small, and the resistance to the paper is increased from the middle to the transmission surface, and the gauge is gradually inaccurate.

Troubleshooting

If replacing new parts, disassembly and assembly is more troublesome, and time is too late, and finally decided to take a padded method to solve. The specific method is as follows: first, a thin steel sheet with a thickness of 0.06mm and the same length and width as the gauge plate is added between the gauge plate and the bottom plate; due to the serious wear of the transmission surface, a piece with a length of about 15cm and a thickness of 0.15mm is added separately. Small steel sheets of the same width as the gauge board cannot be re-padded at this time, otherwise the middle will be much higher. After the processing is finished, the test machine is printed, the pull gauge returns to normal, and the problem is solved, but pay attention that the padding should not be too thick, otherwise the pull gauge board will be too high, and the pull gauge will also be inaccurate.

In addition, the same method can be used to repair the body pull gauge. If this phenomenon occurs on the four-color offset press in Heidelberg, it will not affect the four-color overprint, but it will affect the front and back errors, but it can also be handled by this method. .
