Tetra Pak's new system helps extend milk shelf life

Tetra Pak developed a new packaging solution, 3SL, to help dairy companies extend the shelf life of dairy products such as pure and flavored milk, fortified milk, fermented milk-containing beverages, and more.

The purpose of the 3SL solution is to provide complete equipment support for the entire processing operation, from the milk entering the processing plant to the finished product loading into the transporter. In addition to providing equipment support, Tetra Pak also offers many health care and operating knowledge. This set of technology is mainly used to reduce the microorganisms that are produced during the processing of dairy products, to avoid re-contamination when the packaging is filled, and to maintain a constant temperature.

Currently, Tetra Pak introduced three processing equipment for Tetra Centri, Tetra Alcross, and Tetra Therm Aseptic VTIS that can be used for ESL products. The matching filling and packaging equipment includes Tetra Top, Tetra Rex, and Tetra Brik.
