1. Continuous environmental gamma radiation monitor
The RSS-131 high-voltage ionization chamber produced by General Electric (GE) of the United States is the first high-voltage ionization chamber in the world. This product has the advantages of stable performance, high sensitivity, excellent reliability, mature technology, etc. Reputation, EML 300 report also recommends the use of this equipment for environmental gamma radiation dose rate measurement.
GE RSS-131 has a wide range. From environmental background level to 10R / h or 100R / h.
Compared with the domestic high-voltage ionization chamber, in addition to the price and geographical advantages. The product performance, sensitivity, reliability, and technicality are unmatched. Compared with the RSS-131, the gas tightness of the domestic high-pressure ionization chamber is mainly due to the difference in the manufacturing process, mainly the difference in the sensitivity of the electrometer, which directly determines the overall performance of the entire equipment. RSS-131 uses high resistance with extremely low temperature coefficient, which is a unique technology of American GE. This kind of high performance and high resistance is still not available in China. This also determines the overall performance of domestic equipment.
Other foreign ionization chambers have a certain gap with GE RSS-131 in terms of performance indicators, user recognition, market share, prices and services.
GE RSS-131 can be combined with meteorological equipment such as rain gauge, barometer, wind speed and direction indicator to form a complete set of equipment. A temperature sensor has been built into the device. Both stand-alone and network can be used.
GE RSS-131 uses a modular design. The motherboard (control part), electrometer, high voltage ball, power supply, etc. can be replaced by the user. (Special requirements are required to replace the electrometer) Moreover, the warranty period of the high voltage ball is 10 years.
The sensitivity of GE RSS-131 is close to non-directional (nearly 360 degrees), it can quickly identify low-level radiation, is extremely reliable (many units have a life span of more than 20 years), and can operate in extremely harsh environments.
