Paper use expansion: new foreign fire special paper

It is well known that paper made from plant fibers is flammable and will be reduced to ash upon exposure to fire. However, with the ever-increasing development of modern science and technology, the use of paper has been continuously expanded and extended. In many cases, paper is required to have flame retardancy. Therefore, many countries began to research and develop different types of fire-resistant specialty papers and made some progress.

Britain has developed and produced a fiber fireproof organic material called "Kionl". Among all man-made fibers, "Kionl" fibers that can withstand high temperatures of 2500°C are the most refractory fibers. This fiber is stable to most organic solvents and has high tensile strength and thermal insulation properties. These fibers are suitable for the manufacture of paper, cardboard and felt, with excellent fire protection.

Germany has developed a special coating of fireproof paper. The coating of this paper allows the paper to lose moisture in vacuum and retain its elasticity. Tested under very strict conditions, this paper can not burn at 1100°C in air containing 60% oxygen. They think that this type of paper can make a spacecraft landing on the moon, which is of great development value.
