Ma Yi: Lenovo is to achieve green environmental protection through the protection of five links, these five links are: R & D design, material procurement, production processes and testing processes, logistics delivery and after-sales service.
First of all, we look at R&D and design. After the merger of Lenovo and IBM's original PC division, we have formed three R&D bases in Beijing, Raleigh, and Daiwa Japan. Our R&D system has two poles. One part is the development of new technologies, and the other is the conversion of new technologies. For landing products, we now have more than 300 technical research experts and more than 1,400 engineers in the world. Daiwa Japan does R&D and design of notebook-related products. The Raleigh R&D Center in the United States focuses on desktop R&D. The Beijing R&D Center does more research and development in quality assurance technology. Lenovo has 16 computers equipped with low-power displays and energy management software. The original IBM TVT technology is a highly efficient energy management tool that has now been effectively integrated for Lenovo.
From an environmental point of view, in terms of materials, Lenovo insists on the use of recycled plastics. With regard to computer recycling, the recycling process of our packaging box has been fully established. In terms of noise, we can achieve a maximum of 22 decibels of silence, and 25 decibels is the target of our mainstream products.
