Among them, the Japanese-style pancake robot is the protagonist. This humanoid robot has two hands. It can pour cooking oil into a frying pan, stir the batter, turn the pancake over, apply mayonnaise on the surface of the pancake, and sprinkle with dried seaweed. This robot can also make Chinese fried rice, donuts and cocktails.

This Japanese-style pancake robot show is part of the smart hotel Henn-na Hotel under the theme park, which was put into operation in 2015. The hotel has 72 suites, three robots that serve customers, one of which provides coffee service to customers and the other two perform other tasks. The restaurant has cut the staff from 30 to 8 people.

In July 2016, the Dutch theme park began operating the restaurant Henn-na Restaurant, a self-contained restaurant that provides catering services to robots around the world, with robotic bartenders and robot waiters waiting for guests.

Although this robotic restaurant is a tourist attraction, it is also used for experimental purposes, that is, to observe which parts of the industrial kitchen can be automated and which parts can only be completed by humans. The entire "robot kingdom", including hotels and restaurants, has more than 200 robots. But there are also a small number of human employees in the restaurant, ready to deal with emergencies.

The company's chairman, Hideo Sawada, said: "I hope that robots can complete 90% of the tasks of travel management, and we will strive to be the most efficient hotel in the world."
