HP and Zanders Collaborate to Develop New Inkjet Paper

[Zhongshan Packaging News] Zanders has launched Zanjet, its inkjet printing paper can be certified by the forest management gloss and silk processing. Designed for high-speed commercial inkjet printing, this product was created in cooperation with HP for its PageWide web press. German papermaker Zanders stated that paper will provide "the maximum density and sharp details at full print speed."

The cost of the new newspaper was described as “relatively low” and can now be ordered as part of the trial version, with full listing planned for February.
John Tucker, sales director, said: "The right applications for Zanjet include full-color booklets, direct mail campaigns, soft covers and books." The two major German car brands already use logs.

"This grade is ColorPro technology certified and meets stringent standards to provide optimized printing performance, superior quality, excellent image reproduction, sharp details printed at full density and full speed.

"We will continue to develop inkjet products and will release further development later this year."

Zanjet is recommended for short-run printing of high-end promotional materials, with text ratings of 90, 104, 115, 130, and 150 gsm, covering 200 and 250 gsm inventory. All products are made in Germany and will be backed by stocks and cutter reels.

This product will be provided directly by Zanders.

Its scope includes high-gloss finished label paper and high-grade cardboard grades, forming part of the Chromolux brand, Zanlabel type label paper and Zanpack branded packaging paperboard.

Zanders' high-end brands include Chromolux Digital, Silver Digital, and Zanpack silkscreen numbers developed specifically for digital printing.
